Dr. Peter J. Jaffe, D.O. -
Dr. Jaffe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from The University of Vermont in 1987. He successfully completed Medical School at The University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in 1991. His Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at St. Vincent’s New York Medical College in 1995.In 1995, Dr. Jaffe began his practice with offices in Moorestown and Princeton, New Jersey . In 2002 he moved with his family to Naples, Florida and opened a comprehensive rehabilitation practice which incorporates both medical and therapeutic intervention all under one roof. This allows a seamless and coordinated approach to patient care. Jaffe Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation continues to operate with this vision.
Dr. Nilusha Fernando, DO, FAAPMR -
Dr. Nilusha Fernando is Double Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (ABPMR) and the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Physiatry) and the Subspecialty of Pain Medicine. Dr. Fernando completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University in North Carolina. She subsequently attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Her interest in neurological and musculosketal disease led her to pursue residency training in PM&R at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Fernando’s passion for the field of Pain Medicine led her to continue her fellowship training in interventional spine procedures and pain medicine at Temple University Hospital. She relocated to Naples to join Dr. Jaffe at Jaffe Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation. Dr. Fernando performs various pain management procedures under fluoroscopic guidance with states of the art imaging technology, to diagnose, manage and treat your pain.
Lauren Bogan, DPT -
Lauren Bogan is an experienced Physical Therapist, originally from New Jersey. She received her Bachelors of Science while playing collegiate soccer and lacrosse at Shenandoah University. She continued her educational career at Shenandoah University where she graduated with a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in 2009. She took a special interest in outpatient orthopedics and sports related rehab since she is an athlete herself. She enjoys helping people return to their healthy and active lifestyle after injury and/or surgery. Lauren is an avid runner and enjoys cross fit.
Matthew Condo, DPT -
In 2002, Matt received his Bachelors of science in Physical Therapy from the Ohio State university. He is also currently in the process of earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine School for Health Sciences. Matt understands that medical eduction is an ongoing process and continues to supplement his University education with courses that include Maitland Manual Therapy of Spine, Myofascial Release, Kinesiotaping concepts and methods, advanced dynamic anatomy, Advanced Shoulder evaluation and Management and Differential diagnosis and Screening for Physical Therapy. Matt is also a credentialed clinical instructor through the APTA.Matt moved to Naples, from Ohio, in order to join the team at Jaffe Sports Medicine. In his free time, he and his wife are kept busy with their three children and two great Danes. They all are adjusting well to the beautiful Naples life style and the very friendly people.
William (Billy) Southern, PT -
William “Billy” Southern has practiced Physical Therapy in Naples for the last 20 years. Trained in Boston and Miami, he has a strong background in Orthopedic Rehabilitation and especially in hip and knee replacement. Billy is passionate about what he does. His goals are to ensure his patients are able to return to the activities they enjoy most with as little pain as possible. His patients all agree that his motivation and determination are contagious.
Mary Ann Roche, DPT -
Mary Ann received her Bachelor’s of Rehab Science and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She is originally from Massachusetts and practiced in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy clinic in East Bridgewater, MA. She recently moved to Naples, Florida to practice with Jaffe Sports Medicine (it was the last winter in Massachusetts that drove her down to the Sunshine State). She is passionate about physical therapy and loves helping people gain strength, flexibility, and independence while reducing their pain levels. She believes in hands-on rehab with all of her patients. In her spare time she enjoys working out, reading, musical theater, and spending time with friends and family.
Amy Wiggins, PTA -
Amy is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. She earned her Degree in Science from Broward College. She knew from a young age that she would choose a career in the healthcare field. After observing various areas in medicine she discovered her passion in physical therapy. She has found that helping people return back to their active lifestyles after surgery or injury has been very rewarding.
Tabitha Baxter, PTA -
Tabitha is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She graduated in 2009 from Broward State College with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting. She was a Phi Theta Kappa member throughout the program and graduated with high honours. She has four years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, working primarily in the outpatient setting. She was inspired to become a therapist after not only observing family members quality of life improving through Physical Therapy, but through her personal experience after a car accident. Her mission is to treat each and every one of her patients with the utmost care.
Amanda Roszczewski BBA, AAS; PTA -
Amanda received her Associate of Science degree from Hodges University. After graduation Amanda took interest in outpatient Orthopedics and Sports related rehab. She believes that in order to be healthy you must be physically active, so she strives to contribute to the overall health and well being of each patient she treats. She believes education helps patients understand what it takes to heal quickly and prevent further injury. Her special interests are body mechanics, (pre/post operative education) balance training, and core strengthening. She has experience utilizing modalities, exercise, and manual therapy to aid in the recovery of various neck, back, and orthopedic injuries. In her free time, Amanda enjoys working out, running, kayaking, hiking and spending time with her two daughters. She is very active outside of work and loves the challenge of trying to fit in fitness with her two young girls.
